PROJECT 3
DESIGNING WITH ARCHITECTURAL PRINCIPLES + MATERIALITY + CONTEXT + USER

(required task)

as a group, the students are divided to perform a large group site data analysis on the macro site of the park. Then, the groups will be further divided into smaller groups, focusing on the micro site studies and diagramming.

Individually, upon finishing both studies, students are required to design and model a tropical wildlife discovery unit (1:100) situated at Bukit Jalil Recreational Park, with a maximum space of 100sqm. There are a total of 5 spaces needed to be included, which are the:

1) Discovery space

2) Working space

3) Discussion space

4) Resting area

5) Washroom

upon the completion of model, students are tasked to come out with the followings:

- concept diagram

- user studies

- case studies

- site plan and elevation (1:250)

- set of orthographic (1:100) and 2 key drawings 

- sectional detail (1:20)

​

Students are then required to compose all the information in 3 A1boards (max)
