ARCHITECTURE DESIGN 1
A MODULE THAT FOCUSES ON PRESENTING AND EXPRESSING ONE'S DESIGN THROUGH THE UNDERSTANDING OF SELF AND BODY, CONSTRUCTION, MATERIALS, AND TECTONICS.
overall experience
Having a hybrid style of classes has really benefited me as it provides opportunities for me to have a personal study space for lectures as well as a space where I could communicate with my friends face-to-face during tutorials. The use of social media has also helped me to get in touch with my lecturers whenever there is a problem.

OVERALL REFLECTION
THROUGHOUT THIS MODULE, I HAVE LEARNED THE BASICS AND FUNDAMENTALS OF DESIGN ELEMENTS AND PRINCIPLES AS WELL AS ENHANCED MY SKILLS IN DRAWING ORTHOGRAPHIC, AND AXONOMETRIC DRAWINGS. BESIDES, I ALSO DEVELOPED THE SKILLS AND WORKMANSHIP WHEN BUILDING MODELS AND STRUCTURES.

ON THE OTHER HAND, I ALSO GOT TO UNDERSTAND THE RELATION BETWEEN SPACES, HUMAN EMOTIONS, AND ERGONOMICS, WHICH ARE CRUCIAL WHEN DESIGNING A SPACE FOR BOTH FUNCTIONALITIES AS WELL AS HUMAN EXPERIENCES AND MOVEMENTS.

MOREOVER, I HAVE IMPROVED MY SELF-DISCIPLINE AND INDEPENDENCE AS A STUDENT IN TERMS OF EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT AND TIME ALLOCATION. IN ADDITION, I HAVE BECOME MORE TALKATIVE AND SOCIABLE WHEN IT COMES TO PRESENTATIONS AND DISCUSSIONS WITH MY PEERS AND TEAMMATES.
APPLICATION IN REAL LIFE
MASTERING AND UNDERSTANDING HOW SPACES WORKS WITH HUMAN CAN REALLY BENEFIT ME AS I PROCEED TO BE AN ARCHITECT. BEING ABLE TO COMMUNICATE AND INITIATE DISCUSSION WILL BE VITAL FOR ME WHEN CARRYING OUT CLIENT OR CONSULTANT MEETINGS AND TENDER MEETINGS.
